BIOGRAPHY

Born in Cork, Jo began her career in journalism as a Junior Editor at IMAGE Magazine.

After five years at the leading fashion and lifestyle publication, she moved to New York to pursue a career in fashion styling and freelance writing.

On her return in 2016, she co-founded GAFF Interiors and GAFF Shop.

After almost a decade of reporting on the country's leading fashion, home and lifestyle brands, Jo recognised the incredible waste and disparity the consumer industry perpetuated. Since 2019, Jo has worked extensively to support sustainable development.

In 2020, she launched Futurist, a sustainability-focused podcast series.

In 2023, she gained her MSc in Management for Sustainable Development at Dublin City University with First Class Honours.

She has been the Editor of Climate, a monthly supplement with The Sunday Times Ireland, since 2023.

She is a regular contributor to radio and television, including a weekly slot on Newstalk's Pat Kenny Show.

In 2024, Jo made her debut as a producer on the documentary Amplified:The Exportation of the Culture Wars, which debuted at the Irish Film Institute's Documentary Festival the same year.

Passionate about helping everyone live a more nature-filled and sustainable life, all of Jo's work centres around storytelling and education.

She loves film, reading, coffee, hiking and spending time with her with her rescue Staffie, Harley.
