BIOGRAPHY
Born in Cork, Jo began her career in journalism as a Junior Editor at IMAGE Magazine. After five years at the leading fashion and lifestyle publication, she moved to New York to pursue a career in fashion styling and freelance writing. On her return in 2016, she co-founded GAFF Interiors and GAFF Shop.
After almost a decade of working with some of the country's leading fashion, home and lifestyle brands, Jo recognised the incredible waste and disparity the consumer industry perpetuated. Since 2019, Jo has worked extensively to support sustainable development.
In 2020, she launched Futurist, a sustainability-focused podcast series. In 2023, she gained her MSc in Management for Sustainable Development at Dublin City University with First Class Honours. She has been the Editor of Climate, a monthly supplement with The Sunday Times Ireland, since 2022. She also contributes weekly to Newstalk's Pat Kenny Show.
Today, Jo harnesses her industry experience, business acumen, and pragmatic approach to help brands, organisations, and consumers transition to a more sustainable, circular lifestyle and economy.
She lives in Dublin with her boyfriend and rescue Staffie, Harley.
